1. Who we are

Equity.Finance (the "Service") is operated by Stijn Koster, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Service publishes financial research, analytical tools, and interactive models. By accessing the Service you agree to these terms.

2. No investment advice

Everything on Equity.Finance is published for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes personalised investment advice, a solicitation to buy or sell securities, or a recommendation for any specific portfolio.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Backtests, simulations, and models reflect hypothetical outcomes and do not include all costs and risks of live trading. You should consult a licensed financial professional before making any investment decision.

3. Market data

Market data displayed on the Service is sourced from third-party providers (Yahoo Finance, Alpha Vantage). Data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. We do not guarantee its accuracy. The Service is not a licensed data vendor and data is displayed on a best-effort basis. Data providers retain all rights in their feeds.

4. Accounts and premium

Creating an account stores your email, name, and chosen password locally in your browser. We currently do not operate a remote database, so your account and portfolio information never leave your device unless you explicitly email them to us.

Premium access may be granted via access codes, campaign promotions, or future paid subscriptions. Premium content is licensed to you personally and may not be redistributed.

5. Intellectual property

All original research, writing, code, and design on the Service is © 2026 Stijn Koster and Equity.Finance. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish full articles, sell derivative works, or use our content to train commercial machine-learning systems without written permission.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not share premium content outside of your personal use.
• Do not use the Service to impersonate any person or organisation.
• Do not use the Service for illegal activity in your jurisdiction.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Equity.Finance is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the Service, including but not limited to trading losses, data errors, or downtime.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Amsterdam.
